All one needs to do to understand just the legend of Amanda Serrano is to view her track record in this sport, going from winning the 2008 New York Golden Gloves title to winning world championships across seven weight classes since her March 2009 professional debut. In fact, the only people to defeat Serrano in the ring as a pro were then-IBF super featherweight champion Kimberly Connor-Hamby and the highly-talented Katie Taylor. While Serrano currently holds just two of the alphabet organizations’ featherweight titles, she was once undisputed champion, earning that achievement by defeating Erika Cruz in February 2023.
