Considered one of the best super bantamweights in the world, Mayelli Flores enters tonight with a 13-2-1 record. Flores, who has not been stopped in her career, will look to finally claim gold in her third title fight opportunity. At 9-0 with five KO/TKO wins, Melissa Mortensen gets her first opportunity at a major world championship tonight. Mortensen, who made her pro debut in 2021, has championship success on the amateur scene, earning three Danish national titles, two Golden Girl Championship tournament titles, and two Nordic Championship titles. After claiming the EBU Silver super bantamweight title this past December, Mortensen scored a unanimous decision over Tori-Ellis Willetts in January.
